We're back with some news for you after the announcing of Liftago™ Taxi service, which has so far been a success! New passengers and taxi drivers are being pre-registered at www.liftago.com by the minute and yet a lot of work is still ahead of us.

If you haven't read the Liftago™ Recommendations yet, please do so now. It is an important document, which you can find for download here or at your personal page in the Documents section (there are also versions available in other languages).

Update on launch plan

We have begun the last testing phase to fine-tune our mobile applications for the launch. The goal is to test a smooth connection between the demand of passengers (with the Liftago™ Taxi app) and drivers (with Liftago™ Driver app) along with all functionalities of the service.

If all goes well, we will launch the service within the first half of June, covering the following countries with the first launch wave: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Romania. The list of countries included in the second launch wave is still open. Right now it includes Russia, USA, Brazil, France, Switzerland, Vietnam and the list may grow further depending on the progress of our continuous legal and localisation analyses. Right now, the first launch countries are of the utmost importance and mainly so we can show the world that our community is strong! Once we demonstrate this, expansion to other countries will be a fast ride.

1st marketing support: the rules of the game

Some of you have been asking about the rules of the Liftago™ Community Business and marketing. We prepared the Liftago™ Code of Ethics, which is available for download here or also available as a part of the documents section of your personal page. Since Liftago™ is a protected brand, this document adheres to honest practices of both online and offline marketing and standard trademark and intellectual property laws. An example of one such practice is that any marketer is to refrain from unofficial communication which may be perceived as official Liftago™ communication. The Liftago™ Code of Ethics is here to protect the Liftago™ brand and our community business that benefits all of us. It should get you on the right track now, before the Liftago™ service is launched.

2nd marketing support: registering future passengers and taxi drivers

Although you can continue to register new marketers into your community with your invite code at www.joinsomethingnew.com, you can also now use www.liftago.com the same way, but to register future passengers and taxi drivers (see the Recommendations document for details).

To enable you to see the effectiveness of your marketing effort, we have added a new Summary section to your personal page (it is now the initial page shown after you log in). There you can review the number of members in your community: not just marketers, but also passengers and taxi drivers. You can now not only see the extent of your 1st line, but also the reach of all of your 6 levels. This provides you with a more detailed view into the structure of your community.

You can continue to register passengers both online and offline. Keep in mind that to effectively register new taxi drivers, the number one rule for efficiently marketing to them is to talk to them in person and to tell them the following:

Liftago™ Taxi Service is soon launching its service based on a mobile app to make the taxi world a better place and hassle-free for both drivers and for passengers.
The Liftago™ Driver app, running on Android smartphones and on iPhone, will provide drivers with more taxi jobs to supplement their current business.
Unlike other mobile applications or dispatch companies, Liftago™ has hundreds or even thousands of marketers (like you) in each market, who will make sure that as many passengers as possible use the Liftago™ Taxi app to order taxis.
Thanks to the Liftago™ Taxi app, passengers will no longer need to call just one specific dispatch company - they will be able to directly order any taxi according to their needs.
Liftago™ is going to provide a perfect service for passengers globally. In this way, a lot of tourists will be using Liftago™ in places they visit.
Liftago™ apps are free. Taxi drivers will only pay a small transaction fee for each taxi job they accept. There are no other fees! They will receive initial free rides to try the service out. Then they will simply pre-pay further rides.
They can use your invite link to pre-register at www.liftago.com with their e-mail. There's no commitment and only an email verification is required to finish signing up. When we launch the service, all pre-registered taxi drivers will receive a notification e-mail with a link to download the app and to start using it for their benefit.
