Jio New Product Launch: Car Connect Router

Reliance Jio has created a lot of buzz in the market ever since the commercial launch of its 4G services. The fearsome competition in the telecom sector is continuing with new offers and plans introduced by the company. Jio has also garnered a lot of attention in the market with its exciting range of products which are expected to hit the market very soon. Speaking of the upcoming products of the company,  Jio Car Router is one which surfaced online early this year.

In fact, complete unboxing video of the Jio car router was available on YouTube hinting a possible launch very soon. However, there has been no official word from the company on this new product. Those not aware of Jio Car connect, it is a small device to make your automobile a connected one. This device will sit in the OBD port of your car. Jio Car router will require an internet connectivity, a Reliance Jio 4G sim has to be inserted into the OBD device. Once connected with your car, the OBD device will provide information such as Fuel info, distance info, speed info, temperature, oil levels etc. These stats will be available on your mobile phone through the Jio Car Connect app.

Reportedly, Reliance Jio is also testing its broadband service in various cities across the country. This new service of the telecom operator is expected to launch by the end of the year. Speaking of the exciting line-up of soon to launch Jio products and services. Jio VR app is the latest one to join the list, virtual reality is a fresh and exciting technology in the market. Jio is set to collaborate with the Birmingham City University for its own VR app.

Apart from a slew of new products we can expect smart home devices from the company in the future. Hopefully, we will get to see these devices very soon. We can also expect aggressive pricing from Jio which has been a trend of the Mukesh Ambani led company. Like the latest launched 4G headset of the company which has disrupted the market. Jio Phone was announced by the Mukesh company at the Annual General Meeting of RIL this year. The 4G feature phone launched on August 24 saw approximate 6 million headsets pre-booked within hours. The announcement about new services of Jio such as Jio Car Router Services will be announced close to the end of this year.
