JEE Main 2014 All India Rank card

Central Board of Secondary Education will issue the JEE Main 2014 All India Rank card to the eligible candidates. The rank card will be available online only on the official website of CBSE or JEE Main official website so candidates can visit these website to download their respective rank card.   Candidates are informed that this year onwards, JEE will not send the rank card individually to the candidates at their addresses. JEE published the result of JEE Main 2014 paper 1 on 2nd May 2014.

 

The link to download the JEE Main 2014  All India Rank (AIR) will be available here once it is published.

 

The merit list will be prepared keeping in account the JEE Main 2014 score and class 12th or equivalent examination marks obtained by the candidates in the weightage of 60:40 respectively. JEE Main 2014 Rank Card will indicate the – All India Rank, State Rank and Categorical Rank secured by the candidates. CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) will conduct the counselling and seat allotment based on the JEE Main 2014 All India Rank. The state rank and category rank will accurately decide the chances of getting admission on the basis of state quota and category seats. Candidates will be required to appear for counselling as per the counselling schedule which will be prepared on the basis of All India Rank secured by the candidates.

 

In case a State opts to offer admission to candidates in the engineering Colleges affiliated to state Universities, the State may prepare separate rank list based on criteria stipulated  by them.

JEE Main 2014 AIR – Steps to Check

 

  Logon to the official website of CBSE or CLICK HERE

·         Press on the” Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2014 – Announced on 07th July 2014. This link will take the candidates to download the Rank card

·         Enter JEE Main Roll number, Date of Birth (in dd/mm/yyyy format) and press submit

·         On pressing submit, the Candidates JEE Main  All India Rank card will be displayed on the screen

 

JEE Main 2014 All India Rank and Counselling

 

Candidates will be offered admission based on the choices submitted by them and All India Rank of JEE Main 2014 through a counselling procedure. The candidates will be able to make their choices online for branches/programmes and institutes at the designated time. Central Seat Allocation Board 2014 will facilitate the JEE Main 2014 Counselling. The eligible candidates will have to register themselves for counselling on the CBSE official website -   the online registration will commence on 1st July 2014.
