Jake Paul Vs Tyron Woodley: Boxing Match, Date, Location, Tickets & Fight More

by Iron Tyson Jones Tyson
The highly anticipated boxing battle between the two will take place later this summer. Here's what we know so far about the battle.

Jake Paul's fourth professional boxing match will be against MMA standout and former UFC welterweight champion Tyson Woodley.

When word of the fight spread on social media on Monday, fans were ecstatic.

The battle was subsequently finalized on Tuesday (Jun 1), when both fighters agreed to meet in the ring.

Paul knocked out an MMA fighter in his previous battle, which took place in April, in the shape of grappling expert Ben Askren.

The 24-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer will meet Woodley in an effort to make it 4-0 since his battles with Askren, ex-NBA player Nate Robinson, and fellow YouTube star AnEsonGib.

Woodley, 39, won the UFC welterweight title in 2016 but has since lost his previous four bouts.

So, what do we know so far about Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley?

When will the battle take place?

The Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley battle has been scheduled on Saturday, August 28.

Jake Paul released a poster of the bout, announcing the date while mocking Woodley, suggesting he would be knocked out.

Woodley, on the other hand, is unfazed by the online trolls because he knows he's already won before stepping foot in the ring.

Malki Kawa, Woodley's manager, has explained how the arrangement for the ex-UFC fighter to meet the YouTuber was reached.

Kawa told MMAFighting: "[Woodley] is being paid a lot of money. It's one of the finest deals I've ever done."

"For a person in his circumstance, that was a huge thing. He's going to obtain a big base number. He'll earn a portion of the pay-per-view revenue worldwide."

"He's involved in a variety of activities. He should walk away with a multi-million dollar payoff."

"His first guarantee is already in the millions. With all of the extras, it's a really big paycheck."

"We just got to a place where we were comfortable with it, and Jake is probably making the lion's share of the money, which he is, but Tyron, this is a very fantastic day for him," he continued.

Where will the battle take place?

The battle will take place in Miami, but the exact location has yet to be confirmed.

More information about the fight will be released later this week during a press conference in which Paul and Woodley will square off for the first time.

At that moment, the fight's location will also be revealed.

Where can I get tickets to the fight?

As of now, fans cannot purchase tickets for the battle since it has just been announced.

This will be updated with new information as it becomes available.

Where can I watch the fight?

The Paul vs Woodley Live Stream bout will be available on pay-per-view (PPV).

It has been announced that fans would be charged to watch the fight on Showtime.

When Paul faced Ben Askren, the PPV fee on Triller was $49.99 (£35.37), and we anticipate a similar pricing for the forthcoming fight. However, the prices have not yet been made public.

Jake Paul just inked a multi-fight contract with Showtime, which hosts Showtime Championship Boxing.
