DA - Dongle in J2534 operation mode?

The DA-Dongle J2534 diagnostic tool  is easy and simply  to use

  

(1) from diagnosis Associates website www.diagnostic-associates.com/download.htm download the latest J2534 software DLL files and install them on the IDS / SDD laptop

(2) J2534 device is connected to the vehicle OBDII connector (from power vehicle equipment).

(3) 12-foot USB cable to the J2534 device, the other end of the IDS / SDD laptop.

(4) Red Car Power (PWR) LED will light up, indicating that the device is powered

(5) in the state (STS) vehicle communication LED will flash green.

In the same way 

(6) interact with the existing equipment VCM IDS / SDD diagnostic tool.

DA - Dongle how to update the software update for the future?

The DA-DA-adapter dongle can be connected via USB cable for each DA-Dongle provided to the laptop / PC is simple and easy to update. 

A computer's software update application is available to download below. Once downloaded and launch this application will be responsible for determining what version of the software on the device, a new version is available for update. 

By connecting the device to the PC application software updates will be read when the application runs the device and connected to the Internet, in order to determine whether there is a software update information, and the download to, if there is an updated version of the device . Please Note

DA after installing the software update tool, you need a USB cable to connect your device to the first DA BEFOREyou your computer running the software upgrade tool DA once. This is necessary in order to complete the installation of device drivers.
