Although, such institutes hire the services of best professional designers to
train the students, they might not necessarily prove to be good teachers. The
shortage of quality teachers reduces the effectiveness of the course offered by

Business Through Education: Even
though this problem is prevalent in the entire education system in India, its
impact is clearly evident in the field of creative education. With a majority
of private institutes having shifted their focus from providing quality
education to earning better profits, it is not surprising that the number of
colleges offering a degree in interior designing is far less than those
offering a higher education course in IT or Business Management. This in turn
gives rise to the perception that creative courses do not have much scope when
compared to other popular professional education programs.
