ISO Compliances for Smart Cards

All smart cards, proximity cards, HID Proximity Cards, kantech proximity cards, AWID proximity cards, indala proximity card, printable cards, proximity key fobs, Proximity key tag, etc. are designed in such a way that they adhere to the compliances set by the organization International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO compliance governs the standards for these cards which includes various parameters such as physical attributes, communication features, application identifiers for the fitted microchip and data. Generally the base reference use for adhering to the smart card compliances refer to ISO 7816-1, 2 and 3.

ISO printable cards works on low frequency range and has a better readability performance. The ISO printable cards are generally used for automation management such as access control system, automated parking management, attendance monitoring, etc. ISO printable cards have faster transaction ability, faster scanning, and are designed to provide the benefit of greater reading distance. As these ISO printable cards are compose of PVC construction material, hence they can face harsh environment. While customizing cards using the technology of Re-Transfer Printers that by applying pressure and heat, fuse the images to the card surface, requires composite cards as they can withstand high temperature and pressure. And thus for customization, ISO printable cards are used as they are made up of composite surface and can withstand higher temperatures and pressure. Moreover these cards are easy to use and place as they have same thickness and size as of debit or credit cards.
