In the recent days we have seen the process of railway ticket skyrocketing like anything but normal, with the advancement of demand for more trains and more routes, the railways have become all the more important to our day to day lives, sometimes it’s our uncle who is visiting us or a sister who has a wedding to attend the reasons may be 1000 but one has to accept that Railways have become the part of life like none other.

Now one may disagree that railway is impartial but wonder what happens when you have been trying to get a ticket so urgent and you don’t get it from a month long waiting list as your PNR is in the waiting list but a person who opted to go for a Tatkal or a premium tatkal can get that ticket just one day in advance. There are lot of queries/complaints one may have regarding the online ticket system and the logic behind the up gradation of the PNR status but no one can compare the urgency of a requirement a person has and can never justify who should get a ticket who shouldn’t so it seems fair, but in recent times lot of un-ethical ways have popped up to book the tickets which lead us to one thing and one thing only the corruption that has entangled the railways.

It seems the corruption is being attempted to be curbed by continuous upgrading the system and changing the rules of the game but in its endeavor to rectify corruption it has given away more room to add more.

Railways will always remain an important part of our lives but one has to be ethical in its approach and report any incidents that have been observed indicating any such happenings in the surrounding.
