Investing in the New IPhone 8 or 8 Plus

by Nate Marks Blogger

Before investing in an iPhone, it is important to thoroughly research your options. The latest releases include the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus, and the iPhone X. The iPhone X is certainly the most recent version and also the most expensive, but that doesn’t mean that the iPhone 8 or 8 plus cannot satisfy your needs. In today’s technology driven world, it’s easy to get caught up in needing “the next best thing” instead of taking the time to consider what you truly want and need out of a phone. For most consumers, the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 plus will provide more features and functionality than the typical iPhone user requires. Buying an iPhone 8 will also allow you to save $200-300 dollars compared with the iPhone X that is listed at $1,000.

Consumers hoping to save a couple hundred dollars are asking themselves, can I get everything I need with the iPhone 8? The answer is quite simply, yes. In terms of functionality, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are identical to the iPhone X. All of the aforementioned iPhone versions run on the same bionic chip. The iPhone X features the long awaited Face ID feature, which allows the user to gain access to their phone through face recognition. As impressive and cutting edge as this may be, the Touch ID found in the iPhone 8 and 8 plus is faster and better in many ways. Face ID is not as reliable and moves slowly compared with touch, proving that new technology is not always more reliable or even useful. In terms of charging, the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 plus and iPhone X are virtually identical. If you are someone who relies on the iPhone for photos, we can assure you that the rear cameras on the iPhone 8 plus version and iPhone X are nearly identical.

Investing in a new iPhone also requires an upgrade in the iPhone case. iPhone leather cases are always a good idea compared with plastic cases that often break easily. Whether you decide on the iPhone 8, 8 plus, or X, investing in a high quality, long lasting leather case is always wise.
