Introducing you MILSIM - military simulation

by Lina Buychen Content Provider
MILSIM is short for Military Simulation. It is a company in Goa that specializes in using military simulation tactical paintball activities to develop leadership skills and team building. It is also engaged in event management. It was established on June 4, 2011, and it is a subsidiary of Graffitisys, an IT security solutions company. MILSIM Goa is managed by experienced, active MILSIM players, who are professionals in management, finance, marketing and engineering. Their aim is to teach the public and corporate how to use military battlefield skills in their work and personal lives.

They have the latest equipment and they are trained by experts from Germany, Kuwait and the Phillipines. Their Tactical Paintball Markers include the Alpha Black TM, which has many features similar to an M16, including a 6 position collapsible stock, a high performance 11 inch barrel, and an imitation M16 removable magazine. They also have the BTM Omega TM, which has a realistic aluminium body, and which is ideal for fighting in the toughest conditions. One of their essential markers is the Tippmann TPX pistol, which is high quality, with a small profile, with a compact magazine, a full grip, and is easy to load. They plan to introduce the .68 Caliber Spyder MRX, which has a dual loading system which allows the user to reload during play with a quick turn of the barrel, and the Sierra One, which has a high performance 11 inch ported barrel, with side and top Picatinny rails.

MILSIM Goa provides team building tactical paintball to both corporate and public clients. Corporate clients are encouraged to adopt paintball because it enhances staff morale, and it increases staff retention and productivity. Furthermore, paintball is an equal opportunity activity, regardless of age, gender and fitness levels. Various team building objectives are included in the corporate packages, such as strategic planning (Operation Drug Bust), crisis management and mutual support (Operation Medic Salvo), mission critical targets (Operation Behind Enemy Lines) and handling targets and deadlines (Search and Denote).

MILSIM Goa provides activities for various budgets, and they help to build team spirit between employees and management, by pitting them against each other in paintball, or by having mixed teams or inter-departmental activities. Goa is the ideal place for team building because of its tropical climate, its well developed hotel sector, which provides affordable accommodation, and its connection to nature.

For the public, MILSIM Goa provides war games based on historic events and movies, which help players to be more familiar with the roles they are supposed to play. They also organize tactical school games for schools and colleges, including PCCE, Chowgules and Damodhars. Although the age limit for paintball is 14 years and over, MILSIM Goa also provides target shooting for younger children, using falling target boards. This is also a useful introduction to paintball for those who are not ready for the hectic action of a team game.

The long term goal of MILSIM Goa is to introduce paintball as a widely played game in India, with the help of the Paintball Association of India.
