Science Olympiad 2017-2018
Science Olympiad , a test of capacity and proficiency in Science, is held annually at the national and international Science Olympiad levels, based on syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ICES and the state Boards. Apart from syllabus, a part of test paper is based on the applied Science. Detailed syllabus with sample question paper is provided along with the information Booklet. Please refer the books published by SilverZone Science Olympiad for the preparation of iOS, SSE recommends the competition for each and every student who is studying Science as their subject in the school.
About Examination :
The medium for Science Olympiad examination is English only. The examination is being conducted for all classes from 1st to 12th. Detailed syllabus with sample question paper is provided along with this “Information Booklet” you may also refer our website for the same.
Fee Structure and study Material
Science Olympiad FOR SCHOOL OUT SIDE INDIA: The participation fee for the science Olympiad is USD$8 per student, out of which USD$2 shall be retained by the school against its expenses towards honorarium of the invigilator (s) and other expenses like postal expenses. DD charges and photocopying, etc.
Study Material: The cost of preparatory text book (For classes 1st to 10th ) (USD 4) work Book (for Classes 1st to 12th) (USD$4) and Science excellence Guide (for Classes 1st to 10th)(USD10) is not included in the fee.
Science Olympiad FOR SCHOOL IN INDIA: The participation fee for the science Olympiad is Rs. 120/- per student, out of which Rs.20/- shall be retained per participant by the school as its expenses towards honorarium of the invigilator(s) and other expenses like postal expenses, DD charges and Photocopying etc.
Study Material (For Classes 1st to 12th) : The cost of preparatory text book ( for Classes 1st to 10th) (Rs.60/-) Sample question paper Booklet ( For Classes 1st to 12th ) (Rs.60/-) and Science Olympiad Excellence Guide ( for classes 1st to 10th) (Rs.200/-) is not included in the fee.
