1- Jaipur was founded on 18th of November 1727. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II is known as the founder of Jaipur.

4- In the year 1876, to offer a warm welcome to the Price of Wales, the entire city was painted in Terracotta Pink color which gave the name of "Pink City" to Jaipur.

5- During the period of 1727 and 1734, Maharaja Jai Singh II constructed five astronomical observations which were called as Jantar Mantar. Jaipur is the place to have the largest Jantar Mantar among all five.

6- The oldest museum of Jaipur is known as Central Museum. It received its name by its location which is situated in the center of Ram Niwas Bagh.

7- Sambhar late is the only saline lake in the country. It is situated 80 Km from Jaipur.

8- The Hawa Mahal which is built in form of Lord Krishna's Crown is built with 953 small windows. Those windows are commonly known as Jharokhas which was basically build to offer top-class ventilation to the fort/Mahal.

9- Jal Mahal is the point of attraction for those who love to visit Jaipur for the first time. It is one such Mahal which is built within Man Sagar Lake.

10- Most of the literature loving people would love to know that Jaipur is the only place where FREE Jaipur Literature Festival is organized annually.
