Inner surface defects for seamless steel pipe

Due to the production process of a billet being pierced for seamless steel pipe, there are some inner surface defects we should pay high attention to. Today, we can have a list for customers.

There are eight types for the inner surface defects. So our manufacturers in Threewaysteel pipe company would pay high attention to it during production. Of course, adopting advanced technology plays an important role.

First of all, an inner flap is a question. If there is a straight line, a spiral or a semi-helical line in the tube’s surface, it is necessary to check it again.

Secondly, for inner scarring, we should solve it easily by peeling off.

Warping would be the third one. A straight line or intermittent small nail-like tilt leather

Concerned about width and depth, inside straights and edges would be the fourth defect. So taking carefully for this aspect.

For inner drum kits and pull pits, we should take control for the regular protrusion.

Finally, for internal thread (this defect produced only at Accel units): spiral traces often seen in the thin-walled tube surface, and there are obvious rugged feelings.
