In order to perform ICSI successfully, what steps must be taken?

·       Retrieval is the first step

The female's uterus will receive just a portion of the embryos that have been fertilized. As a result, this stage is critical in order to identify the embryos in the best possible condition.

·       Last step

An ultrasound-guided catheter is used to implant 1 or 2 two embryos into the woman's uterus when the embryo has achieved a particular level of evolution. This might occur as early as two days after fertilization or as late as five days.

ICSI-IVF

IVF incorporates ICSI. Because ICSI is performed in a laboratory, your IVF procedure will be almost identical to one that does not include ICSI. You'll consume ovarian stimulating medicines, and your physician will track your development with blood samples and ultrasounds, just as with traditional IVF treatment. Percentage of successes

The ICSI treatment successfully fertilizes 50% to 80 % of the total eggs. You could think that all eggs fertilized with ICSI-IVF would be fertilized. However, this is not the case. Whenever a sperm is put into an egg, there is no assurance that the egg will become fertile.

It's important to remember that fertilization rates do not always correspond to clinical pregnancies rates. Once fertilization occurs, the overall performance for a couple who uses ICSI in conjunction with IVF is much like the positive outcome for a pair that uses normal IVF in the ICSI Treatment Centre in Delhi.

Affordability of ICSI in India

Between 2.1 and 2.6 lakh rupees is the cost of one ICSI treatment cycle. Additionally, there will be expenses associated with injecting growth factors into the eggs, paying for the process at an embryology lab, and storing any extra, high-quality embryos.

Since the best fertility centres in India employ the best technology, ICSI procedures at these institutions have a better success rate, but the cost will be greater.
