Water also contains fluoride, which helps maintain tooth mineralization. Water can also be used to remove cellular waste. It serves their purifying function.

How many liters of water should you drink each day?

An adult loses between 2 and 2.6 liters of liquid each day on average. One quarter of this liquid is lost through urine. The rest of the liquid is lost through stool, sweating, and breathing.

They can change depending on temperature, air dryness, activity, and other factors. They may also increase during breastfeeding or growth. If we are sick with fever, diarrhea, vomiting, or other symptoms, water can be even less.

It is hard to quantify drink water loss accurately, but there is an easy method to determine how many liters of water you consume each day. Normally, we need 30 mL for every kilogram of bodyweight. A 70-kg person would require 2.1 L daily.

This does not mean that you have to drink 2.1L pure drink water. You should drink around 1.4L water, or other beverages like tea, coffee, tea, herbal teas, and juices. Water-rich foods such as fruits and vegetables will provide the rest. How many liters should you drink each day?

Men need approximately 2.4 L of fluids per day. Women should consume no more than 1.6 L. Women have a fluid requirement of 1.8 L. They should drink at most 1.1L per day. Women who are breastfeeding or pregnant should drink more water.
