IES Result 2015: Expected to be Issued in October

IES or Indian Engineering Services are administrative civil services of the country. The exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for managerial and technical functions of Government. The exam is considered quite difficult and candidates need to prepare well to crack the exam. A huge number of candidates appears for this exam every year. Union Public of Service Commission will be releasing IES Result 2015 for the candidates those who appeared in the exam. UPSC will be releasing the cutoff marks with the result on the basis of which candidates will be selected for the next rounds. Result will reflect the candidate's performance in the exam. Candidates those who qualify the written exam will be selected for further verification process. Result is expected to be released in the month of October-November 2015. The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in all the rounds (written exam, interview). The result for finally selected candidates will be released in March 2016.

The schedule for interview schedule will be released by UPSC at the time of result declaration. Candidates those who score marks more than or equal to cutoff marks will only be able to make to the personal interview round. UPSC will send interview call letters to all the eligible candidates. Candidates will have to attend the interview as per their schedule.

After getting good marks in IES Result 2015 candidates will have to perform well in personal interview round as well. The candidates those who perform exceptionally well in the interview round will be selected as IES Officers. Interview results will also be published on the website of UPSC.

IES Result 2015 will be declared on the basis of category of candidates. It will be released separately for all the categories. Result will be available in the pdf format. This result file will be containing the roll numbers of the candidates those who qualify the exam. 

Candidates can check their result on the website of UPSC by simply following the steps that are mentioned here:

1.As result will be available on the website of UPSC, therefore candidates must first visit the website of UPSC.

2.Then they have to search the homepage for the link for result. Click that link.

3.On clicking, candidates will be directed to the result of various examinations conducted by UPSC. Look for the link of 'IES Result 2015' and click it.

4.Candidates can now see the result link for both (written and interview) results. Separate link will be provided there.

5.Candidates can click the IES Result 2015 link as per their requirement. Those who want to check the result for written exam can click the link for written exam and those who want to check the interview result can click interview link.

6.After opening the required link, a pdf file will be displayed containing the roll numbers of the candidates those who qualified the exam. Candidates will have to check their roll number in the list. If it's not present, then they are not qualified in the test.
