IES 2016 Preparation Tips -Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Indian Engineering Services (IES) Examination every year for intake of candidates for the various technical posts in the Governmental enterprises. •    The candidates must aware themselves of the IES Syllabus for the B.Tech Paper to make their chances more crystal clear.

• They should cover all the topics in their respective B.Tech Paper.
• Try to make mock tests.

• Try to make mind to take the test and start the preparation pretty early. This will help them start their preparation with much time in hand by knowing well the syllabus. To be able to prepare well, there must be a clear cut routine which the candidates must follow.
• The questions asked in the examination are of practical and logic based and hence the candidates must answer them logically.
• There is a provision of negative marking in the examination and hence the candidates need to waste marks in attempting questions they don’t know properly.
