by Andaaz Fashion Online Shopping
Fancy dress competitions are mainly held at school for the sake of fun. Such competition not only help children to open up but also help children to increase their self confidence. There are many shops which provide high quality fancy dresses that are easily available on rent as well as sale purpose. Even the online markets have huge variety of such costumes. Children participate in fancy dress competitions and gather attention of the judges as well as the audience by their lovely dressing styles. What attracts the judges more is the outfit which has the work of hand that is homemade and unique outfits. There are several occasions in which these fancy dress competitions are usually organised in schools like during Navratri Pooja, Christmas party,Diwali celebration, Janamashtmi celebration, etc. It requires a lot of effort and creativity to find and make interesting costumes for fancy dress competitions. Here is a list of few costumes which can be worn during fancy dress competitions :
• Peacock
• Butterfly
• Tree
• Flower
• Lord Shri Ram
• Lord Shri Krishna
• Bride Groom Dresses
• Actor and actresses
• Sports personalities
Mostly children love to participate in this competition as they get a chance to play the role of their favorite artists. It’s no less than a dream come true for them. It can be anything whether a cartoon character or any other bird or animal. In markets these costumes are easily available but at the same time it needs a lot of hard work to find the right piece as the costume designs are common and might have been worn by other kids in the past. One more issue which arises when we talk of fancy dresses(rented) is that they are stitched in free sizes so it becomes pretty hard to find out the right size for your child. In case you are unable to find out the right kind of costume for your child then you can pick a character which has some basic and easily available outfits such as politicians or sports figures. It is of course easy to find a jersey(belonging to a particular sports person) or a saree(to match with the female politicians). One of the famous characters chosen for fancy dress is Mahatma Gandhi and you don't have to do a lot to copy his attire. All you need is a plain white dhoti and a pair of round spectacles. The bald look can also be attained by adding that opaque skin colored wig. I remember becoming Sania Mirza in my childhood. I picked out a white skirt along with white basic tee from my own wardrobe and then added on a cap along with sports shoes. I went down to the market and bought two wrist bands for each of my hands. I already had a badminton along which i decided to pick. It was the easiest last minute preparation I could have done for my fancy dress competition and the best part I won the prize too! So to all the parents, you need not freak out about any of this. All you need to do is play cleverly with your mind and voila! You'll achieve the best attire for your kid.
