What is covered?

In the case of an accident of the individual driver while driving or mounting/dismounting from the car, this plan provides the coverage of Rs. 2, 00,000. An option for the co-driver is also available.

·         Third Party Coverage

Sum Insured

The fixed insured value of a vehicle is termed as IDV (i.e. Insured’s Declared Value).

The initial listed price of the vehicle (including the listed accessories) as per the manufacturer’s record is the base on which the IDV value is calculated. The new IDV value of a vehicle is depreciated by a certain percent every year as per Indian Motor Tariff.

Note: The IDV value of a vehicle requires including (post depreciation) the price of electric or electronic item (if any) installed in the vehicle, in case not already added to the manufacturer’s actual listed price.

As per ICICI Lombard Car Insurance, for each vehicle having a bi-fuel system (i.e. integrated LPG/CNG kit), RTO permission is mandatory and must be insured separately at a fixed premium of 4% of the actual value of the kit.
