The Iaso Tea is distributed by the nutritional department of the Total Life Changes company, which is led by CEO Jack Fallon and President Armand Puyolt. The company operates in the industry of network marketing and was launched in 1999.
The corporate office is in Cheserfield, MI (USA), has additional offices worldwide in 8 different countries and continues to offer diverse products in todays unique and diverse health/wellness market.
There are 6 different Iaso branded products inside the Iaso product line:
Since the focus of this post is to provide an Iaso Tea Review, let me share more about what that product is.
According to the TLC company website, the Iaso Tea is a unique all-natural blend of 9 essential herbs and is designed to cleanse the upper and lower intestines, ridding the body of toxins and some really nasty parasites.
It is claimed that with just 8 ounces of this mild detox tea twice daily can provide you with dramatic results.
In fact many people have reported weight loss as a result of following the 8oz a day routine.
Iaso Tea Review – Compensation Plan
With Total Life Changes, there are 5 different ways to get paid inside of it’s compensation plan. I won’t be going into extreme detail on each of these 5 ways but I will share them and leave you with a good understanding using examples of how they work.
#1. Retail:
As a health and wellness company, TLC offers products that are available for purchase via retail. When you sell any of the products to a customer just wanting to use the products and gain the benefits from them, you earn 50% commission on sales.
Example: You sell a $40 product to Bill. You earn $20 for your work. Simple.
#2. Fast Start:
In the traditional network marketing industry, there are opportunities for distributors to get started with “starter packs” to help you get a good mix of many or all of the products to sample, use and sell.
In TLC when you sell a starter pack to someone as distributor, you earn a 50% commission.
Example: If you were to sell a $200 starter pack to your new distributor, you would earn $100 on that fast start package.
#3. Binary Plan:
This is where you need to pay attention. In a binary comp plan, you have what we call 2 legs. One on your left and 1 on your right. Usually, once you sponsor 1 person on your left and 1 person on your right, you are qualified to earn commissions.
Now, of these 2 legs, 1 of them will generally generate more sales volume than the other, depending on how aggressive your reps are in either leg along with your efforts.
In TLC, the company will pay you based on the volume you have in the “weak” leg, which is also called the “pay” leg. So whichever leg has the LEAST amount of volume, that is what you will get paid on. And the commission structure pays 10-25% on your “weak” leg up to 20,000k per week.
Example: If you have 1,000 points (similar to dollars) in volume on your left leg and 5,000 points in volume on your right leg, you essentially get paid $0 on the volume of 5,000, and you get let’s just say 25% of the 1,000, which is $250.
(This is one thing I actually dislike about binary comp plans. You could have millions of dollars flowing in one leg and thousands flowing in the other, yet you don’t see one red cent from the million dollar leg….just know that)
In addition, beware of flushing. Make sure to have your sponsor explain that part to you as I don’t want to confuse you here..I just want to make you aware that it could be a factor..not in your favor!
#4. Check Match:
This is a very cool concept in that when one of your personally sponsored reps makes money, you make money too! In fact, when you sponsor someone who earns a check inside the binary portion of the pay plan, which I just described to you in #3 above, you will earn a 50% check match.
Example: You sponsor Michelle, and she earns $500 from the binary portion of the plan…the company will match that check 50% and cut you a check for $250.
#5. Lifestyle Bonus:
Once you reach a certain level in the company, you can qualify for the lifestyle bonus which is essentially an extra $1500 for you to use towards your mortgage, your car note, whatever you like. It’s nice to have a little extra money isn’t it?
Of course it is!
So that is a brief breakdown of the compensation plan and now you know how you make money.
Iaso Tea Review – My Findings
Based on the information I have researched, and likewise provided for you above, I would have to say that Total Life Changes as a company is overall a legitimate network marketing company and by being a distributor of the Iaso Tea product along with the growing market of people wanting to lose weight in a healthy yet quick way, you have a good opportunity to generate a size-able income from home if you decided to take the marketing and promotion of this product seriously.
So if you are a current rep of this company or are looking to become one because someone you know has presented it to you, then I think you are in good hands.
So join whomever you feel the most comfortable with.

Iaso Tea Review – What No One Will Tell You
Given the fact that marketing the Iaso Tea is a legitimate way to earn extra income in a business of your own as a distributor of the Total Life Changes company…there are somethings that either your sponsor or your upline don’t know themselves and obviously can’t tell you..OR they know and most likely won’t tell you.
In the network marketing industry, companies do things differently than traditional corporations we all know and see on TV, at the mall or hear about on the radio.
In network marketing, companies choose to take funds that would otherwise be allocated towards company advertising and promotion for consumers to see out on the open market and instead reserve them for the distributors in the company and pay THEM for the sales and referrals they make to the company via the products and services it offers.
In other words, instead of paying an advertising agency billions of dollars to mass market…they pay the people, like you and me to make sales using our own expertise, methods and strategies
.
Therefore, as a distributor, you need to learn how to recruit other distributors as well as make retail sales.
Now, for the experienced network marketer, it may be a piece of cake to make enough sales or recruit enough distributors to generate decent sized commission checks.
But for the person just getting started or for the person who may be familiar with the industry yet may have never really been successful, it’s a totally different story when it comes to marketing, recruiting and making sales.
The truth is that most people get started in this industry without being taught HOW to market..or even how to automate their small business.
Therefore they fall into the traps I describe in this Iaso Tea review below…
Iaso Tea Review: Problem #1
See, when I first got started in this awesome industry, my upline told me to BUILD MY LIST which meant to write out a list of 100 or more people..people inside my circle of influence. And it was made clear that I should leave no one off regardless of their interests, financial stability or location.
So I started putting together a list of all the people in my phone, in my rolodex and people off the top of my head that I was the closest to.
But after about 30-40 people, I couldn’t think of anyone else.
When I handed the list over to my sponsor, he told me that the list wasn’t long enough and that I needed to add more people. And then he gave me a memory jogger which looked something like this:

I would the spend all evening from 6pm-9pm cold-calling these people only to end up with the majority of the people saying they didn’t want to start a business and had no idea where I got their information from.
The ones who seemed open always had to speak with their spouse or didn’t have the money right then in which I had to schedule a follow-up call in about 30 days.
And almost 100% of the time, they never answered or returned my call from any message I may have left.

So at this point in my business, I had exhausted my friends and family list..and I had burned through all the extra money I had to buy leads.
I had no where else to go and I had no idea how to become a top earner in my company, probably like you are wanting to be one day too.
