In today’s highly competitive world, achieving your desired goal can be quite tough. While there are a slew of competitive exams that are conducted across India every year, the Civil Service Examination is definitely known to be one of the toughest to crack, with only a few thousand out of lakhs of young aspirants managing to clear the exam. The IAS 2015 Examination is already underway with the Preliminary Exam being conducted on 23 August 2015 and the nights are probably long and light now for all you young aspirants as you stagger beneath piles of revision folders and go through endless cycles of mock tests and sample papers. With the start of the exam season, the IAS Result 2015 looms next. Over the next one month, the IAS Preliminary Exam Result 2015 is going to be the big topic of conversation, with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) expected to declare the results in the second week of October 2015. But that is only the start and then there is the wait for the results of the IAS Main Examination 2015. In this article, we provide you with a summary of pertinent information on the IAS Result 2015 that will assist you with any queries you may have related to your exam results. So here’s what you essentially need to know:
  • The IAS Result 2015 will be declared in three stages. The results of the Preliminary Exam will be announced first, followed by the results of the IAS 2015 Main Examination, and the final results which will be declared subsequently.
  • So here’s when you can expect the results for the various stages of the exam-The IAS 2015 Preliminary Exam Result will be out in the second week of October 2015 tentatively while the results of the Main Exam are expected in the second week of April 2016 and the final IAS Result 2015 is presumed to be disclosed in the last week of June 2016.
  • And no! You don’t have to scan the newspapers for your Civil Service Examination results anymore. Your results for each stage of the exam will be put up on the official web portal of the Union Public Service Commission. PDF documents containing the results for each stage of the exam will be uploaded on the website and all you need to do is to download the result document onto your system. You can then choose to read the result file using Adobe Acrobat, Foxit Reader or any other secure PDF Reader.
