IAS 2015 Result: Check Details
The UPSC conducted the Civil Services Preliminary 2015 Exam on 23rd August 2015. The candidates who took the exam are now awaiting the IAS 2015 Result or Civil Services Exam Result 2015. The IAS 2015 Preliminary Result is expected to be released in the second week of October 2015. The candidates must clear the Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2015 in order to qualify for the Mains 2015 Exam. The IAS 2015 Prelims exam will be published by the UPSC. The candidates can check their result online. The IAS 2015 Result will be published on the official UPSC website. The final selection of the candidates will be based on the marks secured in the Mains and the personality test.
Check IAS 2015 Prelims Result
- The first step is to visit the official website of the UPSC.
- Click on the link indicating ‘Civil Services Prelims 2015 Result’.
- You will now be able to download the PDF file containing the result list.
- Type your roll number in the search box to see if you have cleared the Prelims.
- The IAS 2015 Result list will indicate the roll numbers of the candidates who have cleared the Prelims.
- Save the PDF file for further reference.

Mains Exam
- The candidates must clear the cut off for the Prelims which will be decided by the UPSC in order to qualify to write the Mains exam.
- The IAS 2015 Prelims result will only indicate the pass/fail status of the candidates. The marks will not be disclosed in this list.
- The candidates will be able to download their score cards 10 days after the release of the Civil Services Exam Result 2015.
- The Mains exam is a crucial exam in the selection procedure of the IAS.
- The final selection of the candidates will be based on the Mains scores and the personality test scores of the candidates.
- Personality Test
- The candidate must clear the Mains exam with high marks in order to qualify for the personality test round.
- The candidates will be shortlisted for the personality test on the basis of their Mains scores. The hall tickets for the same will be sent to them or will be available for download soon after.
- The candidates will have to get their documents verified before sitting for the personality test round.
- The total marks assigned for the personality test are 275.
- The candidate’s final selection will be done after this round.
