I Submit RTI First Appeal, How Do I Check RTI Online Status?

The right to information act allows you the right to know about your government’s work. This system helps in bringing transparency in work and also allows the people to question the work that has already been done. A people can visit the office or can file an application through the means of the internet as well. It is the duty of the government to reply to the application and satisfy the applicant. In 30 days, the reply comes to the registered address of the applicant.

In case if that does not arrive, the applicant has the right to Submit RTI First Appeal. Since it is the right of the Individual to get the genuine and relevant reply, the government of India ensures that the first appeal is taken into consideration and dealt with in a perfect manner. The appeal once filed taken a fair bit of time to deal with and then the PIO gets back to you through a post to the registered address.

Not only this, until the response doesn’t arrive at the address you can check on the status of your RTI appeal. By checking the RTI status you can be assured of the where your application is sailing and in what time it will reach to the office and also the time I which you are going to receive the response from the office.

In order to know about the status of your RTI appeal online, you just have to click on rti online status after you log yourself in. Do remember, you can only check your status if you have the required credentials. The status of your appeal will be displayed and you will come to know about it. Need not to worry as there are no charges and fees appointed for checking your current status. The website with which you filed the application holds the responsibility to let you know about the status of your appeal. If any website asks you for any fees or commission, there are disobeying the rules, according to the RTI Act 2005 the government of India does not allow any fees for checking the status and if anybody tries to do it then they are liable for the punishment and must be reported responsibly. It is requested that the applicant must read all the guidelines before they go for filing the application. The applicant is required to ask the particular expert about all the possibilities before getting the application drafted so that they may get assured of every possibility that may occur. One must also make sure that their questions are relevant as well. For irrelevant questions, the response may well be irrelevant too. So, it is recommended that the person must also look into their questions as well. Moreover, the applicant must also look into the details that they have provided. Wrong details may lead to delivering of the post to the wrong address as a result even after the reply being sent, you will not be able to receive it properly.
