I love the Microsoft Surface RT

I love the Microsoft Surface RT.Shortly after getting home with the tab, I pulled up a recipe on allrecipes.com, set the Surface up on my counter and baked.The Microsoft Surface RT is a standalone, compact, self-standing masterpiece. It’s bright, viewing angles are superb and while stood up, it’s sturdy enough to swipe and scroll on comfortably.

Talking about operating system, as name suggests, new Surface runs on Windows 8 Professional. This new OS is backward compatible and thus applications and games running on Billige Tablet PC version of tablet can be run on new one, too. And accordingly, most of Windows 8 application will be available for this one giving users lot of choices to select from.

Being extremely attractive in terms of its specifications, Surface Pro fails to impress you when it comes to battery life. Due to upgrade of processor over previous version, sources have confirmed that 42 Wh battery of Surface Pro can offer battery life of four to five hours, which is disappointing considering use of tablets these days. Apart from this issue, Microsoft Surface Pro appears to be satisfactory package.

When it comes to video though, it’s shocking. HD streaming? No chance. Netflix? Not without Silverlight you won’t. Your own video files? Make sure it’s no higher than VGA resolution to be safe. This leaves me wanting. Badly.

Microsoft Surface Pro is Wi-Fi compatible and supports Fourth version of Bluetooth so that you can share photos and videos with your friends. The Surface however nailed video. I sat down to watch iPlayer using it after a bout of ChromeBook fail. The remainder of the evening went on to consist of two episodes about breakfast lunch and dinner, a movie on Netflix and finally an episode of Tekzilla on my 1080p TV connected to the Surface.

I’ve just bought a mid 7 zoll android tablet pc. Given my line of work, it’s the perfect tool for typing on the go - no boot times, cheap as chips, plenty of battery.

The Surface RT tablet has a relatively restricted sales channel via physical stores. It is sold only through 31 Microsoft stores and 34 smaller holiday specialty stores.It is also available through Microsoft's online store in eight markets including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.
