I am a happy introvert and I assume it!
Usually, when you do not conform society's standards, people have a tendency to single you out as weird or anti-social.One common belief is that the ideal way of behaving is to be an extravert.
It is so reassuring to many people to have a loud, cheering person in front of them, who likes to have ten thousand (maybe I am exaggerating a little bit here, but i did it on purpose) friends laughing along with them.
On the contrary, introverts are feared and viewed as depressive or anti-social people just because they choose to keep more on the inside.
Well, I am an introvert, I have been one during my whole life, I am a happy person and I fully assume who I am, regardless of what people might think of me.
Throughout the years, I have learnt to develop a positive attitude towards life through positive thoughts.
I smile a lot, but I speak less.
To me, noisy individuals are a vexation to the spirit. I do enjoy spending time in silence, in meditation and prayer.
I love relaxing myself at home, bathed in total silence.
I love spending time alone and it benefits my author activities. I don't think I'd be able to write efficiently in a very noisy environment.
I only choose to speak when necessary, because i weigh my words.
I am an introvert, and people who know me describe me as positively minded. I manage to attract sympathy. Some people say that my smile is contagious.
I am who I am, I fully accept it and I assume it. Also, I don't claim to be perfect. I do my best with my God-given abilities, like writing, for instance.
Did I tell you that what others think of me is none of my business either?
