In this highly connected world of social media, emails and text messages it is very important to be able to write in clear and well versed email. It is now imperative more than ever to be able to communicate clearly through written essays. So therefore, one must learn how to write an essay like the pros. Here are some of the tips you can use to improve your essay writing skills.

1.       Know who your audience is:

One of the most important things to remember is knowing fully well who your audience is. This is the only way you will be able to make your writing relevant to the audience. Doing research on the audience before starting to write your essay will lead to you producing a more well-researched and competent piece of writing.

2.       Do Some Proofreading:

Believe it or not, proofreading is what can make the difference between making and breaking your essay writing game. The best essay writing companies have more confidence in the proofreading skills of a human. They never rely solely on computerized proofreading software.

3.       Don’t Use The Words You Don’t Know About:

There are a lot of ‘big’ words which might appeal to you but you might not know the meaning of. Do not use these words until you find out their meaning and the context they can be used in. Just using the words because they appeal to you is not an ideal thing to do. In fact, experts believe that using simpler and easier English appeals more to the audience than difficult and hard core English.

4.       Don’t try to sound smarter than you actually are:

If you really want to sound smart then learn to write from the heart. Writing without doing the relevant research first is going to cost you a lot. Instead of sounding smart it would only seem as if you’re rambling to most of the readers. People get to know easily if you have done your research or not just by going through the first paragraph of your essay!

5.       Write With A Lot Of Authority:

Irrespective of how insecure or confident you are about writing the essay, you should always write with authority.  Write with utmost conviction and let the audience know that you know what you are writing about. This will help the readers trust you more and they will also take more interest in the essay which you have written. If you don’t write with conviction, the audience will also start to doubt you and your knowledge about the essay topic.

6.       Avoid the commonly misspelled words:

There are a lot words which we unintentionally misspell without even noticing. If you want to beat the pros it is better to have a list of all the misspelled words with you and you revise your work accordingly as they have significant weightage when it comes to grading.
