How To Work Out Like A Victoria's Secret Model...
It is a truth universally acknowledged that Victoria's Secret models are pretty much a different species from the rest of us. While we might not be blessed with the same genes, we can replicate the way they work out. At least, we can try and get abs like Adriana Lima's, right?
Type Victoria's Secret into the Google search box and the top suggestions are all about diets, measurements, workouts and what they look like without make-up. The latter aside, it seems we're pretty intrigued about how the Angels get in shape, which is unsurprising given how good they look strutting down that catwalk.
So, how to look like a Victoria's Secret model? They don't keep it a secret: the Angels watch what they eat and drink before a show, but they also work out unbelievably hard. Their Instagram feeds are full of their workout of choice and the fruits of their labour - and it seems a lot of you are interested in how to #TrainLikeAnAngel.
Leg squats
Candice Swanepoel is a big fan of the classic workouts. No pain, no gain... As they say. Not only do leg squats tone your pins but they are one of the best functional exercises for balance and day-to-day health and mobility. Not just that but the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn with an exercise.

Dance
Candice is a self-confessed fan of the dance workout - and for very good reason. As well as helping you lose weight and tone up, it improves flexibility, reduces stress and gives you a more positive outlook.
Boxing
Boxing is a big hit with the A-list right now, with everyone from Jessica Alba to Adriana Lima getting on-board with the high octane sport. The combination of cardio and martial arts can burn over 700 calories an hour and it's effective at burning that hard-to-budge stomach fat.
Gym
While some go for the alternative options to the classic workout, Adriana Lima gose for a classic, hardcore gym sesh where you can work out any muscle groups you want to focus on.
Yoga
Alessandra Ambrosio keeps her muscles long and lean with yoga. Though it's not the biggest calorie burner (at around 100 an hour), it's excellent for staying flexible and relaxed.
Ballet
Like Alexa Chung, Alessandra Ambrosio takes to a ballet class to keep her pins toned and strong. In as little as three hours a week, it can help to tone your muscles but the femininity and fluidity builds them longer and leaner than other more intense workouts. It also helps mantain a good posture and healthy back.
Core Workout
There's nothing more classic than a core workout like the plank. Not easy but effective. As well as strengthening your muscles, core exercises are hugely beneficial to the general functions of your body including balance, mobility, posture and back health, during a workout and in day-to-day life.
Pilates
Karlie Kloss is a big fan of Pilates-style strength training which works individual muscle groups. As well as burning more calories than yoga, it is known for improving strength and postural awareness.
Finding the Angels' Instagram pictures a touch deflating? Get working out like one and you'll feel a whole lot better.
