How to Use Google Voice to Record Phone Calls on iOS

How to Record iPhone Calls Using Google Voice?

If you want to record only incoming calls on your iPhone, then you can install Google Voice from Apple App Store. No need to install any third-party app in order to record incoming calls on your device. The only drawback you are getting in this app is that you can't record outgoing calls. To record calls with Google Voice, you will have to port your number to Google, which is not an easy thing for each time to want to record calls. Here's how to record phone calls using Google voice:

1. In order to record calls on your iPhone or iPad, you have to sign up for an account on Google Voice.
2. Navigate to voice.google.com on your favorite browser.
3. Now follow the on-screen instructions to create an account on Google Voice.
4. After that, you need to enable the call recording function on the app. To do that, open your Google Voice app first.
5. Then go to the menu ( it is three dots icon) and then hit the Settings option.
6. Move downwards and then press the 'Calls' option.
7. After that hit the "Incoming Call" toggle button to turn it on.

Now the phone call recording feature is enabled on your device. As we told you, your calls wouldn't be recorded automatically, whenever you receive a call. You have to do it manually by tapping the 4 number key on dial pad during an incoming call. To stop the recording, tap the 4 number key again.

If a call is ended during the recording going on, then it will be saved to your storage by itself. Keep in mind that if you want to record a call with this app, then you have to do it manually before starting your conversations; otherwise, some part of your call will not be recorded.

Suppose If you have received a suspicious call, then it will be too late to record it as half of the conversation will not be recorded.

How to Access Recorded Calls on Google Voice on Your iOS Device?

To listen to your recorded calls on your iPhone or iPad, go to Google Voice, and then hit those "three dots" located on the top-left corner of your screen. Press the Recorded option and then choose a recording that you want to play after that, hit the play button.
