Procedure to Set Up TomTom GPS Device for Use:

Step 1: Fully charge your TomTom GPS device.

Note: The device takes around two hours to fully charge.

Step 2: Now, ON your device, so that it acquires the satellite signal.

Step 3: Then, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device.

Note: If you are using this for the first time, you have to follow the third step. In case you have used it earlier, the device will display you current location and the driving view.

Step 4: Tap on the center of the device screen to open the main menu.

Step 5: Then, click on the “Navigate To” option and then “Address.”

Step 6: Next, enter your address in the ‘Address’ field. To enter the exact address, type ‘City’ and then, click on ‘Area’ and finally enter your ‘Street name’ and ‘House Number.’

Step 7: As you enter the city, it will give you a list of options and same will happen with a street name. So, choose the correct ones.

Step 8: Now, enter the location, where you want to reach (your destination).

Step 9: Follow the voice guided or on-screen directions to reach your destination on time.
