How to take care of your suit

Suits perfect for all occasions. So it is important to keep
them clean all the time. A custom-made
suits or off-rack suits both need a proper maintenance. Keeping suits clean,
making them live-longer and it will save your money too. But dropping it off at
the dry cleaner`s shop once a week, is possibly the biggest investment in your
wardrobe. Putting it to dry cleaner shop will maintain it sharp-look, plus the
fabric also remains soft.
Here we are going to tell you some key points by which you
can keep your suits last-longer.
1.
Alternation is the key point:
Keeping two suits is the key point. Wearing the same suit
daily no matter how good you look, but at some point it will lose the charm and
start showing fatigues. The fabric becomes hard, the jacket and trousers will
lose its shape, all over its staring fading and become dull.
Always keep two sets of suits in wardrobe, if you don’t
want, then keep at least 4-5 the matching trousers and a number of shirts.
2.
Give It Some Room:
Always keep the suit in suit cover, hang it on
wooden hanger in wardrobe. The wardrobe must have an empty space for the suits,
by which it will remain in their crease.
Never keep it in already full wardrobe, else your
suits are full with wrinkles. Keeping suits long time in wardrobe sometimes will
get a moisture, so it is advisable to keep the cedar which acts a natural moth
repellent and absorbs excess of wardrobe moisture.
3. Shower with It
After wearing the suit, put your jacket and
trousers on wooden hanger and place it on the back side of the bathroom door.
The steam, which generate in mooring at the time of bath will allow the suit to
breathe, smooth the crease and also remove the odor. Or you can hang your in
open air for some time, which remove the stink from it.
4. Brush It Out
Natural
fibers love to keep dirt and dust. So it is advisable to brush the suits after
every wear, or give it a lint roller to significantly extend its life. All you
have to do is just hang your jacket and start brushing it in downward
direction.
5. Don’t Clean It
It is better to give your suits on dry cleaner after
every 3 months. Putting it to dry cleaner shop after every wear will enhance
the risk to damage the natural fiber. Instead of choosing dry-cleaner you can
refresh the fabric with a steam.
