How to Set up “Do Not Track” Settings on Mac OS X?

Enable Do Not Track Option on Safari
If you would like to enable the Do Not Track option on Safari,’ then abide by the given steps.
  • Launch Safari on your system.
  • Then you should select the Safari menu on the upper side of the display and pick Preferences within the drop-down section.
  • You have to select the Privacy button within the displayed Preferences dialog.

  • Navigate to Google Chrome on your system.
  • Then click on the Chrome at the upper side menu and launch the Preferences.
  • Go to the settings of a web browser and move down until you view the ‘Advanced’ tab, select it.
  • Expand the advanced options list. There locate ‘Send a Do Not Track needs with your browsing traffic.’ Enable this feature.
  • Now, shut the settings button.
Enable ‘Do Not Track’ on Opera
If you wish to enable the Do Not Track on Opera, then pursue the given instructions.
  • Navigate to the Opera web browser on your screen.
  • You should enter the Preferences by selecting the Opera tab within the taskbar on the upper side of the display.
  • Reach the Privacy and Security field situated within the left-hand side menu.
  • Beneath the Privacy field, you should tick the mark next to ‘Send a ‘Do Not Track’ request with your browsing traffic.
