How to replace the water purifier in GE refrigerator

GE Refrigerator Water Filter Location

The GE Refrigerator Water Filter is side by side in the refrigerator and a water filter, usually located in the fresh food room in the upper right corner. In the side-by-side built-in refrigerator, the water filter cartridge on the back is usually located at the top of the top cover of the refrigerator, above the door. Please consult your user manual for the specific location of your model.  Replace filter

 Please consult your refrigerator for details of your user manual. GE Refrigerator When there is no filter replacement indicator, we recommend a filter to change every six months, or if the water dispenser or ice machine is reduced, there is an ice water dispenser on the door.

 Installation filter cartridge

Delete: Turn left 1⁄4.

The model does not have a replacement indicator: the month/year label or the sign box month/year is an installation reminding you to replace the filter.

Replace the cartridge with water from the faucet from the dispenser for better flow.

Slowly move the filter to the right until it stops. Don't overstress the GE refrigerator . When you put the cartridge, it will automatically raise it into place. The cartridge will be about 1⁄2.

The system was run from the vending machine for 3 minutes (approximately 11⁄2 gallons) to remove the system from spattering.

Reset indicator (with this function model): Press and hold the water filter plate vending machine for 3 seconds until the light goes out or turns green. If you don't reset the time on the stage long enough, the light will continue or stay red. If you hold the reset board too long, the light will leave and then come back. Consult your user manual for specific reset instructions for your refrigerator.

A newly installed water filter may cause a spray from the dispenser.
