The perceived artificial lawn cost is often the reason people avoid having a synthetic lawn installed. And at first glance it may appear to be expensive. However, the cost savings associated with a synthetic lawn installation nearly immediately begin offsetting your investment and within 3 years will have covered the complete cost of your investment.  Additionally there are ways to lower your artificial lawn cost – and in large part it is driven by choosing the right artificial lawn product for your application from the right supplier.  Don’t by an over-engineered grass for your low traffic application – and don’t under purchase on your high traffic application!

Synthetic lawns don’t need to be mowed. This is a large reason for many commercial applications but also an important reason for residential homeowners to consider having artificial grass installed. When you think of how many hours you spend mowing your lawn in the summertime, or all year if you’re in a southern climate, imagine having those hours back to do what you want with them.

Owing to their popularity, there is a lot of artificial lawn research that is being done. This research is mainly pertaining to the benefits that these lawns can provide and better alternatives so that they can work better. One particular study showed that synthetic lawns do not have the natural capacity for killing microorganisms that can cause infections. However, another study showed that artificial lawns do not allow microorganisms to breed in them with the same propensity that they do on real turfs.

Many people consider their lawns a point of pride, so when ill health or age prevents a person from performing the demanding lawn maintenance chores necessary to keep the yard looking great, an artificial grass is an excellent solution. For the elderly or those who simply can’t do the physical tasks necessary like mowing, weeding and trimming in the hot sun, the ability to have a beautiful lawn without that maintenance is one that synthetic lawn provides.

As the artificial grass manufacturing process improves we are seeing a growing trend of artificial grasses being used in residential landscaping applications.  Synthetic lawns now represent 20% percent of artificial grass installations – with artificial grass sports fields making up the balance.  Artificial lawns actually represent 35% of the growth!  Please check out our line of artificial grasses used for residential landscaping applications.
