If an issue has occurred in your computer after making changes or installing a program, you can fix the problem by simply using created restore points. This will undo the changes and make your computer working as it was. You can do this either your Windows is starting or even if it is not.

Using System Restore when your Windows is starting:

1. Open ‘Start.’

2. Type ‘Create a restore point’ in the search and hit ‘Enter.’

3. Open the top result to open system properties.

4. Click the ‘System Protection’ tab to open it.

5. Click ‘System Restore..’ button under “System Restore” section.

6. Click ‘Next >’.

7. Choose a restore point you want to use.

How to boot a computer into Advanced startup:

To access System Restore, you need to access Advanced startup first.

1. Start your computer.

2. As the Windows logo comes up on the screen, press the ‘Power’ button.

3. Again start your computer and do the same.

4. Repeat the process 2-3 times or until you’ll not see the recovery options on the screen.

5. Now under the ‘Windows Setup,’ click ‘Next.’

6. Select ‘Repair your computer’ from the lower-left corner.

That’s it! You’re in Advanced Startup option.

Steps to access and use System Restore from Advanced Startup options:

1. On Automatic Repair window, click ‘Advance option’ button.

2. Choose ‘Troubleshoot.’

3. Now, select ‘Advanced options.’

4. Select ‘System Restore.’

5. Click ‘Next >’.

6. Click a restore point to use it on your computer.

7. You can click ‘Scan for affected programs’ button to check the error > click ‘Close.’

8. Then click ‘Next >’.

9. And click ‘Finish.’

Once the restoring completes, the program or changes that were causing the trouble will remove, and your PC will start working as well as you can start it as usual.
