How to play Blu-ray on Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan
Apple has released its new computer system Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan at September 30, which brings under-the-hood improvements and refinements to OS X Yosemite. Preparations
you need to do:
- Mac El Capitan (OS X 10.11)
- Intel Core2 Duo 2.4GHz
processor or higher recommended
- 512 MB RAM or higher

- 250 MB of free disk space
- Internal or external Blu-ray drive
- USB 2.0 or above
- FireWire 400 or above
- Internet Connection
Step 1: Free Download

Center. You can also click here to download
Mac El Capitan Blu-ray Player, and then drag its icon to your
Application folder.
Step 2: Launch Macgo

After installing Mac El Capitan Blu-ray Player, you can go to "Launchpad" and click Mac Blu-ray Player. You can see two buttons in the main interface: Open File and Open Disc. And this simplified main interface will reduce some misoperations.
Step 3: Enjoy Your
Blu-ray Movie
a. Play a Blu-ray File
Click “Open
File” > Select a Blu-ray file
If you want
to play a Blu-ray file, just click on "Open File" on the main
interface and choose the Blu-ray video you would like to watch from local media
files, then click "Open".
Wait
for a few seconds till the menu appears. Now you can choose where you want to start
watch the movie in “Chapter”, which language you want to hear in “Audio”and what
kind of language you want to see in “Subtitle”, then you can directly click
“Play Movie” to enjoy some Blu-ray time.
b. Play a Blu-ray Disc
Insert a
Blu-ray Disc > Click “Open Disc”
First,
connect the Blu-ray drive with your Mac via USB cable. Insert the Blu-ray disc
you want to watch in the drive. Press “Open Disc”, select the disc you just
inserted, and then click "Open".
