How to modify Time format in MS-Outlook?

Microsoft Outlook is a part of MS-Office suite and is a personal information manager of Microsoft, mainly used as an email app.

Often we change a current time zone in MS-Outlook and it reflects back to all the calendar entries as well as updates the time zone, as per the new format settings.

For 2010

  1.           Select the ‘File’ tab.
  2.           Click on the ‘Options’.
  3.           Select the ‘Calendar’ option.
  4.           Enter a description in the ‘Label’ box, under ‘Time zones’.
  5.           In the ‘Time zone list’, select ‘Choose any format’ according to your convenience.
  6.            Select the ‘Adjust for daylight saving time’ checkbox on your PC clock adjustment automatically.
  7.          Click on the ‘show Second-time zone’, for second time zone.

For 2007

  1.             Open MS-Outlook website.
  2.           Go to the ‘Tools’ menu.

  6.           Type a description in the ‘Label’ box under ‘Current time zone’.
  7.           Choose any format that you wish to in the ‘time zone’ list.
  8.           Select the checkbox to adjust for ‘daylight saving time’ for your PC’s   adjustment automatically.
  9.           Click on the ‘Show an additional timezone’ to add another time zone.
