These widgets provide the basic functions for a website. However, if you cannot find a widget for the functionality you are looking for, you can search for new widgets. Under the "Plugins" dropdown menu located at the left portion of the admin area, click on the "Add New" link. Here you can see an interface of "Install Plugin". In order to search for a desired widget, there are two possible ways. First, you can use keywords and type it in the search section. Secondly, you can click on the tags available in the plugin directory. From either options, you will get different widgets to choose from. In case you have already chosen a widget, simply click on the "Install" link at the upper right corner of a widget plugin.
Now, the desired plugin has been installed and activated. Go back to the "Widget" menu, where the pre-installed widgets are listed. You will notice that the new widget is already included in the list of already available widgets. Finally, you can drag-and-drop this widget and place it where you want.

- To manage the widgets, login to the Wordpress admin page.
- In the admin area, select the "Appearance" button. This is at the left side of your admin page.
- In the "Appearance" menu, you can see the current theme you are using for your WordPress website as well as other themes.

- Make sure that the theme you use for your website has block enabled for widgets.
- Select the "Widget" sub-menu button.

- Drag a desired widget from the widget area to the sidebar and drop it at a place where you want it.
- Check the widget for its functioning and see that it responds well.
