Formerly known as Australian Development Scholarships, Australia Awards Scholarships are long-term awards administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The program aims at providing scholarships to international students from developing countries to undertake undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. The scholarship covers the cost related to tuition fees, return air travel, establishment allowance, contribution to living expenses (CLE), Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), etc.

Australia Research Training Program

The scholarship program allows international students to undertake a postgraduate research qualification in Australia while gaining some valuable experience with leading Australian researchers. Students can avail these scholarships for up to two years for a Masters by research degree or three years for a Doctorate by research degree. The scholarship covers the expenses related to tuition fees and health cover.
