·         Install the application

Inshot is available on Android as well as iOS. Go to the Play store or App store as per your device, and download the InShot application.

·         Beginning with importing Images and Videos

The first thing you’ll do once the application is downloaded is importing photos and videos from your gallery. When you open the application, it asks you if you want to work with an existing project or a new one. Click on the ‘New’ button and select the images or videos you want to work with. Once you import, the selected content will appear on the window with a lot of editing options under it.

·         Adding Music or Sound

You can add music or voice-overs to your photos and videos in the application. InShot enables you to import the music of your own choice from your device or select from the in-built music library. Not only this, but you can also set the volume levels for the music or sound.

The steps to add music to your project are:

1.      When the selected content appears on the window, click on the ‘Music’ option from the list of features.

2.    The next pop-up will give you three options: Music, Effects, and Record.

3.    Music lets you import from your device or select from the library.

4.    Effects are the background sounds, and InShot offers you plenty of them.

5.     Record is the option for adding Voice-overs.

6.    Adding Text

You can add captions and messages on your project with the help of the ‘Text’ option. Click on the ‘Text’ tool from the list of other tools and anything as per your convenience. You can also change the font, color, text size, etc. You can reposition the text as well.

·         Using Stickers and Animation

To add a little fun element to your video, you can use animations or stickers in your project that are customizable. ‘Sticker’ option enables you to add GIFs, animations, etc.

·         Selecting a Resolution

InShot enables you to save your project in one of the three resolutions, that are 480p, 720p, 1080p. A watermark is added once you save your video to the gallery, but they can be removed while working with the project.

·         Save and Share your project

When you’re satisfied with your editing, the final step is to save your video to the gallery by clicking on the ‘Save’ button. It’ll take a few seconds, and the video will get saved. You can share these videos on social media platforms as well.
