Parents should go through this process on their own. Enlighten your home with fun, decorative, water floating candles made at home. Let’s get started with this exciting DIY hack.

Step 1: Prepare the craft materials

Before moving on to create a stunning floating Diwali candle, let us first prepare its craft materials. All you need is a small pan, piece of wick, paraffin wax, two disposable cups, scissors, thin wire, a pointy object like a fork, ruler, permanent marker, and tape.

Step 2: Make the first half

Pour some wax into a pan and put it under medium heat. Stir it till it starts melting into a flowy liquid. Once melted, turn off the heat and let it cool down a little bit so that it can easily be poured into plastic cups. Grab the cup and mark it on 2cm. Pour the lukewarm wax until the mark. Add sparkles, artificial flowers or stars for some stunning look.

Step 3: Prepare a secondary container

Now make a hole in the bottom and insert the wick through it. Tape the bottom and seal it with tape. Heat your forky object and pierce the candle right in the middle.

Step 4: Pour More Wax

Melt more paraffin wax and meanwhile cut down a little of thin wire and attach it to the top of the wick. It will help you pull the wick through the hole of the first half of the candle. At this time, pour wax to the 3 cm of the mark.

Step 6: Touch up & Final Details

Finally put the wick in the first half and put it in top of the melted wax. Once done, take out the extra elements and add finishing touch with scissors. After going through all those steps, you will get a stunning floating candle for Diwali festive season.
