How to Maintain Your CF-54 ToughBook For Superior Performance
by Tech Tough TechTough Panasonic ToughBookAbout the Product
Ever since Panasonic came out with its super-slim CF-54 ToughBook, one
of the thinnest and lightest Toughbook in the market, it was the talk of the
town. Designed specifically for field service workers of the diagnostic
industry, mainly for the indoor repair and maintenance, the semi-rugged Panasonic
Toughbook doesn’t compromise on its durability or its functionality.
This honeycomb design of this product is made for strength, despite the
thinness of the Toughbook.
When a field worker is out there on a field, he needs a device that will help him with his planning and detailing, easy to carry, and also have high withstanding power, in that it is dust, water, vibration and drop proof, to survive all the mishandling that comes with the job.
Panasonic Toughbook CF-54 is made for that and much more! It is available
in two versions, the HD model and the Full HD model. Differing in the operating
system, and the pixels, these models can be used depending on the purpose of
the job.
How to Maintain CF-54 Toughbook?
- Like it is with many electronic devices, switch the device off before removing any external hardware like data card, network cables, etc. But if the model is with the CD / DVD drive, remove the CD first before turning it off and storing it. IT may damage the CD and the device when it is turned on with the CD still inside from previous use.
- Although the Toughbook is drop-proof, when it
meets a strong impact, it could damage the chip in the device. Place it on
a sturdy surface, with little chance of it being tipped over by
mistake.
- The Toughbook needs to maintain the
temperature between 10 to 50 degrees, above which, could over what the
device and burn it. If the temperature goes below 0 degrees, there is a
risk of the device being freeze damaged.
- Battery recalibration is the resetting of the
battery stat, to show the actual percentage of the charge remaining in the
device. The device may show to be charging faster than usual while it is
charging in low charge, making the display and the actual charge
different. This helps to charge the device correctly, not over or
undercharging it.
- Connect the connectors in the right direction, each hole to align perfectly with the connector. Do not try to forcibly connect, it could damage the delicate pins. While not in use, remove the connectors from the pins and carry them separately, to avoid damage.
With a variety of configuration options, this Panasonic
Toughbook CF-54 is excellent in terms of flexibility and ease of use.
Forget the complicated times of carrying heavy computer machines to and back
from work, and depend on notebooks and other stationery to make the detailed
plans, a work unavoidable for a field worker. With this Toughbook, it has made
the life of a mobile field worker way easier, not needing to carry their load
everywhere they go.
