This downloading process and its installation are much simpler, but every time the user makes any significant change to their device, they put the device on risk. Even updating OS will not affect the data, but it is better to safe than sorry. The User has to make sure its OS is up-to-date.

1.   Connect any external hard disk through USB, Thunderbolt, or FireWire.

2.   Tap on the icon of Apple in the corner of the screen of the upper left side.

3.   Tap on System Preferences on the Dropdown Menu.

4.   Tap on Time Machine from the System Preference window.

5.   Turn on theTime Machine Slider.

6.   Tap on the Select Disk on which you want to create Backup, then select the external drive.

7.   The machine will start the backup in two minutes after formating.

1.   Go to from your Apple Mac device.

2.   Tap on Discover.

3.   Tap on macOS.

4.   Tap on the button Download.

5.   If there is a page showing to log in, then login with your Developer’s account.

6.   Go down and tap on the button of Install Profile for the macOS Catalina. This file is going to start downloading automatically.

7.   Double click on the Window Download, and tap on the macOS Catalina Developer Beta Access Utility.

Now to run software installer, double click on macOSDeveloperBetaAccessUtility.pkg.

After finishing the download, the user will see a screen to start the install update automatically.

1.   Tap on Continue.

2.   The user will see a page showing the T&C. Click on the Agree button.

3.   Now tap on the Install Button.

4.   Just follow as the instructions instruct.

After finishing all the steps, the Mac device will reboot itself to install the update. And now, the user has nothing else to do but wait.

Installing macOS Catalina 10.15 beta 2 on any partition

To avoid the corruption of data, the user can install it as in the partition of Mac’s Hard Drive. This way, the update will be operating on a specific section of the device, while other runs on the current OS.

1.   Firstly do the Partition of the Mac.

2.   Tap on the Continue after completing the download.

3.   The user will see a page showing the Terms and Conditions. Click on the Agree button.

4.   Tap on the Select All Disks so that you can make portions run on different OS.

5.   Now tap on the Install Button.

The user will have of Installation Helper for transferring information form current OS, or choose the clean the device to start the device from the very scratch.

After Mac device is rebooted, the user has to follow some steps to start the Catalina 10.15.3;

1.   Tap on the Continue button.

2.   Login with Apple ID and its password. After login, iCloud sync will start automatically.

3.   Tap on Get Started.
