Applications of Flexible Plywood
These are used to craft imaginative interior designs where curving and rounding is the main attraction. These are extremely flexible and don't show any resistance to bending or rolling. These can be twisted or curved into any shape without chipping, cracking, or peeling. This could not be possible with regular forms of plywood as they tend to break upon bending or twisting. These are available in different thicknesses from 3 to 12 mm, and will not be available in very thin layers to make sure that it won't break while giving it a shape. These would provide curved structures even with small radii.
Installation
Flexible plywood is constructed specially so that it can be bent easily and can be given any shape. While creating any structure, normally a jig or mould or a frame is created. Then flexible ply layers are applied with the help of glue in between each layer. All the layers are held firmly for the required time span, until the glue gets dry completely. Later on, the structure is removed carefully and the desired shape can be obtained. If you need a much stronger structure, you can increase the layers of the plywood and can create thicker items.
Flexible plywood can craft appealing structures and unique creations. These are very strong, durable, and water resistant as well to some extent. So create curved surfaces of your choice with these and stand out from the crowd by creating designer kitchen cabinets, rocking chairs, curved sofas, or wardrobes.
