by United Studies USAC - MBBS Abroad ConsultantsAre you a parent or a pupil looking for options to
take MBBS admission abroad? Well,
hundreds and thousands of students and their guardians have woken up to this
new avenue to fulfill their or their kids’ professional ambition. People are opting for MBBS admission in
abroad universities because it is less expensive than doing the same course in
India from private college. Not only it
is affordable but standard and method of education is also superior. Colleges
there are better facilitated and equipped than some of the private medical
colleges in India and their standard and quality of education.
In India the options to pursue MBBS are by and far limited. Some limited by seats and some limit themselves because of high fee structure. MBBS admissions happen on merit. Top students get in government colleges - these have been around for decades, and thus have the best course structure, systems, reputation, enjoy recognition and reputation and have all the students eyeing and vying for the seats. Being such a highly populated country, mental conditioning, limited career choices, the competition becomes fierce.
Students who do not get admission into government
medical colleges try private medical colleges, which are recognized by
government but run by private bodies. Students who pass from private medical
colleges can also practice or apply for higher studies in the same way that a
government medical college pass-out can. And all these students have to appear
and clear an entrance examination after 12th called the NEET. If
they don’t score well here their chances of getting MBBS admission reduce by
that much.
MBBS admission in abroad universities is relatively a
recent phenomenon but it has taken off real quickly. Foreign universities do
offer MBBS admission to Indian students provided they meet their criteria.
Students who take MBBS admission abroad and pass out from there appear for an
examination in India on passing which they are issued a license to practice the
profession in India. Earlier it was simpler to get admission abroad in MBBS and
come back to practice but not Indian government has become strict. You have to
clear NEET to apply for admission abroad in MBBS and again come and appear for
another examination to get license to practice.
