Disable Download the Team Apps Feature

  • Launch a supported web browser and reach’ Microsoft Teams Admin Center.’
  • You should sign in with the admin details.
  • Go to the navigation panel at left-hand side of the screen, and select the ‘Org-wide settings’ and choose Teams to upgrade.
  • Reach the screen of Teams upgrade, find the option ‘Download the Teams app in the background for Skype for Business users,’ then turn it off.

  • After uninstalling the ‘ Teams Machine-Wide Installer’ and you are returning on the screen of Apps and features.
  • Select the Microsoft Teams within the programs list to choose it.
  • You have to select the Uninstall option.
  • Now, pursue the on-screen steps and pop-ups to uninstall the Microsoft Teams client.

  • After uninstalling ‘ Teams Machine-Wide Installer’ successfully, select the Microsoft Teams within the search outcomes to choose it.
  • Later, click on the Uninstall option.
  • Pursue the on-screen steps and pop-ups to uninstall the client of Microsoft Teams.
