We should begin by looking at the settings and ensure it has been configured properly.

Configure settings

  1. Firstly, launch System Preferences.
  2. Then, press on Sound.

  4. Next, tap on Internal Microphone.
  5. Whenever you say nearby the MacBook, the audio input should register.

Turn on Dictation
