Users can use the Parked Car feature of the Maps app to find their parked car. The Parked car feature of the Maps app works with the Bluetooth. You need to pair and connect your iPhone with the Bluetooth of your car. Now, when you turn off your vehicle, the Parked car feature marks that place. The feature marks the spot where your iPhone and car disconnected. Here is how to enable and use the Parked car feature.

How to enable the Parked car feature on your iPhone

Although the feature is turned on by default if it is not then you can check and turn it on manually.

1. Go to the ‘Settings’ app.

2. Go to the ‘Maps’ settings.

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Maps screen.

4. Check the “Show Parked Location” sliding switch, it should be turned on.

5. If it is not, tap the switch and turn it on.

The feature is now enabled on your device. If you want to check the Location services settings then with the below steps you can check them.

To check the “Location services”:

1. Go to the ‘Settings’ app.

2. Go to the ‘Privacy’ settings.

3. Go to the ‘Location Services.’

4. Check the services for the Maps app is enabled or not.

5. Enable the location services for the app.

6. Tap on ‘Frequent Locations.’

7. Turn on the switch of ‘Frequent Locations,’ if it is not.

How to find your parked car with the Maps app

Under the search bar of the Maps app, the Parked car feature is the first or second entry. You can also search for the Parked car feature with the search bar.

1. Open ‘Maps’ app.

2. Enter the “Parked Car” to into the search bar.

3. Tap on the ‘Parked Car” option to find your parked car.

4. Here you’ll see a small Maps card with the details of the current location of your car.

• “Directions” button to get the directions from your location.

• “Under Time,” you can see the time when you parked your car.

• “Note” option to add a note about the details of the parked location.

• “Photo” option to take a snap of the parked location.

How to edit and add the information to the location of your Parked Car

1. Open the ‘Maps’ app.

2. Tap the marker of the ‘Parked Car’ on the map.

3. Tap on ‘Note’ to add the textual information.

4. Or tap the ‘Add Photo’ to add photographic information.

5. Tap the ‘Edit Location’ button to change the of your parked car, if it is not correct.

How to remove the Parked Car location

If you don’t want to get the location of your parked car on the map, then you can remove or stop the feature. Here’s how.

1. Open the ‘Maps’ app.

2. Tap the marker of the ‘Parked Car’ on the map.

3. Swipe up on the card of ‘Parked Car.’

4. Select ‘Remove Car’ to remove the current parking location.

5. Or Select the ‘Stop Showing Car’ to permanently remove the Parked Car marker from the map.

Note: If you select the ‘Stop Showing Parked Car’ option, you’ll not see the parked marker on the map in the future also.
