by Flying Spares Flying Spares Ltd

One of the biggest challenges that most of the people come across when they buy car parts is to determine whether the parts are fake or genuine. There are two different types of buyers. The first type who is always willing to buy the original parts for a better maintenance and there are others who buy duplicate or fake parts for the purpose of cost saving if you are one among those who are particular about buying only the original car parts, here is a quick guide for you.

Check Out the Date Format:

If the spare parts are original and are made in America they would feature the date of manufacturing, day and year. Other countries may use the different format. So, if you have an American car and want to buy only the original car parts you need to check out the format whether the date stamp has the format which matches the US standards.

Packaging that is Common:

If you have bought a super valuable and luxurious car like Rolls Royce you can look for genuine Rolls Royce Parts is to look for packaging. The genuine part suppliers always pack Rolls Royce parts with the packaging that contains their logo and other types of trademarks.

Too Much Discount:

Most of the spare parts manufacturers offer discount. This is a part of their marketing strategy. But, if the supplier is giving you incredible discount you should be alert about it. If there is too much of discounts than in all likelihood the parts cannot be original as the original parts of the car cost reasonably high.

Check Out the Language:

Most of the fake spare parts manufacturers use awkward language as they belong to a country where English is not the native language. So, you should check out whether any awkward language is used to make sure that you are not buying fake parts.

Check Out “Made in” Labels:

You need to check out the “made in” labels. Find out online where the car is being manufactured and then check out whether the parts packaging has the same “made in” labels or not.

There will be other differences in the car parts as well. You can find out whether the areas are symmetrical or not. Spare parts are not symmetrical and have a shabby finish or a rough welding.

Spare parts are made by a number of different companies and all of them may or may not have the same pattern or colors. But, the fake car part manufacturers generally have duller colors and can be easily distinguished by their design patterns. If you want to get hold of only the original Rolls Royce parts, you can find the images on Google and compare them.
