How to Fight Common Cold in Winters
Facing nose blockage, sneezing, sore throat and running nose during winter is quiet common in winters. Common cold can be cured with home remedies if you notice it in the initial stage. More than 200 viruses can cause common cold in winters but rhino virus is the contagious of all.

• Eating pepper helps in running nose and sneezing. You can even use grinded pepper with lukewarm water for gargling to get rid of viruses and bacteria.
• Inhaling fumes of turmeric powder sprinkled on burning coal can cure nose blockage problem.
• Mix old jiggery with dry ginger power to get rid of cold and sneezing.
• Drink warm water throughout the day at the time of cold when you are thirsty. You can even add honey and lemon juice for a better taste.
• Mix jiggery with sesame seeds and ghee and take this mixture twice a day. It will help in itchy and running nose.
• Boil anjeer (fig) in water and drink twice a day to treat cold, sneezing and running nose.
• Teaspoon of Cinnamon with lukewarm water and honey can help in treating bad throat.
• Prepare tea by adding bay leaves, ginger, clove and black pepper. Consume this tea twice a day. It will help in bad throat and running nose.
• You can apply castor oil on your head to get relief from running nose.
