If you are wanting to get visitors for whatever reason ( eg. selling products or services or promoting a cause) to your Facebook page. Then I bet your asking yourself, "How do I pull this off without spending any money?". Well, it's actually a pretty simple concept. You, for the most part, promote your Facebook page the same way you would promote any website. Post on blogs with similar content, pay for ads, etc. Most people dont know that your Facebook page can show up in search engine results too though. Yes, your facebook page can show up in Google, Bing, Yahoo, Alexa, and other search engines and even has its own pagerank. You could pay for this to happen with Google Adwords or Bing / Yahoo adverts, but why do that when you can get similar results for free. To do this you must obtain backlinks to your Facebook page, group, and/or profile. I have some Facebook pages on a certain subjects that get listed on the first page and even the first result for certain search terms on Google and Bing.
